Often when delving into your analytics data, you’ll create specific queries and filter configurations that you will want to save for easy access at a later time. Marfeel makes it easy to do so with Workspaces.

Workspaces are folders where you can save your reports from any part of the Marfeel platform and turn them into powerful dashboards that aggregate all of your chosen metrics and KPIs, creating beautiful data visualizations.

The Value of Workspaces

Every modern publisher should aspire to create a data culture and install robust processes across the business that support it.

Workspaces enable this by allowing you to define how your data should be seen by different teams and stakeholders in the organization and enforcing this standardized vision for the whole organization.

This results in:

  1. Time savings: Keeping frequently-used reports as close as one click away avoids having to regenerate the same report over and over again, making it easier to access the specific configurations of filters, dimensions and metrics that matter to your business.

  2. Improved organization: Categorizing reports according to team, function, or any other system you choose makes it easier for different stakeholders to carry out their work. You can also organize your private reports so that they enhance your personal workflow.

  1. Dynamic time frame: Dashboards don’t present frozen snapshots of your data, you can choose any timeframe you want and all your charts and graphs will update automatically.
  2. Dynamic filtering: The same goes for filtering–apply filters at the top level and all of your data will update in concert.
  3. Different visualizations: Choose from many visualization options: time series, area graphs, bar charts, pie charts, funnel graphs, as well as simple charts and lists of articles to add editorial context.

  1. View modes: Workspaces have two view modes: List mode and Dashboard mode. You can switch back and forth between the two in a single click through the top right menu.
  2. Text widget for explanations: Text cards with instructions, explanations, and contextual information help your colleagues understand what they’re looking at and how to use it.
  3. Bookmarking: Favorite and pin your top workspaces to the sidebar for easy access with a single click from anywhere in Marfeel.
  4. Sharing: Workspaces/dashboards can be shared to build alignment and get everyone on the same page by working with the same data and the same frame of analysis. Choose wether users will be able to further explore the exposed report enable filtering capabilities or wether you want to offer a closed report.
