Social Monitoring Data

Marfeel collects data from monitored Facebook, Instagram, Youtube, and TikTok feeds, consolidates the information in real-time, and makes it available for lightning-fast and in-depth exploratory analysis.

Marfeel Monitoring does not have access to user engagement metrics of the social posts. Marfeel Monitoring only has access to the social post publicly available data.

Metrics

Marfeel’s Social Monitoring tool breaks things down into a variety of metrics to help you find whatever insight you’re looking for.

  1. Interactions: These are instances when a user engages with a social post, including likes, comments, shares, and bookmarks. Be sure to look at the sparkline to know when topics are spiking and you should jump on board, or when topics are declining in interest and you should focus your attention elsewhere.
    • Last 2 Hours / Selected period: These are all interactions a social post has received in the last 2 hours. Tracking recent interactions will help you determine which topics and posts are hot and still relevant. You can then take this information — including how competitors are covering the topics — and monitor your own posts or try to replicate the success of your competitors.
    • Total: These are all interactions a social post has received in your selected timeframe. Sorting by total will help you understand which topics and posts have had the largest overall impact in your selected timeframe. Setting the time frame to longer periods, such as 28 days, can give you a sense of evergreen topics that succeeded without being tied to breaking news. You can then try to replicate that success with your own evergreen content.
  2. Interaction Rate: This is the amount of interactions divided by the followers of a publisher’s social media account. It indicates how engaged and active the follower base of an account is. With this information, you’ll be able to fine tune your social strategy to engage or inform your audience.
  3. Video plays: These are plays of Youtube and TikTok videos, but not of videos posted on Facebook and Instagram. These metrics appear underneath the post title and are subject to the same filters, but do not count towards the interactions metric.

Multi Social Network boards

A board can monitor feeds from Facebook, Instagram, Youtube, and TikTok. Different social networks have different metrics. Marfeel monitoring will show specific metrics under each post according to where it’s been published and consolidates for easy post benchmarking all the interactions under Interactions.
