Apple News tracking, TikTok monitoring, User Sessions and a lot more

Here you will find all the major changes coming to our platform over the coming days. If you have any questions about any of these items, please speak with your account manager, we’ll be happy to delve into them with you.

Monitoring TikTok accounts

You asked and we delivered. As of this week, Social Monitoring now allows you to monitor TikTok! The only thing you have to do to get started is add the TikTok accounts you want to monitor when creating your custom social boards, and Marfeel will show you all the videos they’ve published with useful metrics like: plays, likes, comments, shares, and bookmarks.

Marfeel Monitoring is moving out of BETA

Marfeel Monitoring is officially moving out of its Beta phase! You can now purchase an account directly online. To ensure a smooth transition, we’re providing all users with a 10-day grace period to continue using Monitoring as usual. After this period, a paid account will be required to maintain full access. For those not ready to upgrade, Marfeel Monitoring will continue to offer a free version with limited features.

3000 new cities added to Google Discover Monitoring

We’re continuing to extend our coverage of Google Discover with over 3000 new cities that can be targeted and monitored. This will allow publishers to narrow in on more countries and regions around the world, enabling hyper-local news strategies using unique data that you can’t find anywhere else.

Session tracking is coming to Marfeel

We are adding Sessions tracking to the Marfeel platform. Going forward, Sessions metrics will be available for Marfeel Enterprise accounts.

Traffic attribution model improvements

We are introducing changes to our attribution models aimed at giving publishers a more accurate understanding of traffic acquisition sources. These changes will include unifying Dark Social attribution criteria for desktop and mobile traffic, bookmark traffic, and re-classification of some Search traffic as Direct to more accurately reflect user intent. All of these changes will be deployed on Monday October 7th.
