Marfeel uncovers Google Discover volatility
Starting this morning, we’ve detected significant volatility impacting Google Discover. Google Discover feeds are showing content that is 1-2 days old, but very little fresh content from today, and when new stories do appear they only remain in the feed for a few minutes. These changes have also been observed by Marfeel users Nicolas Billia and Red de Periodistas.
Learn Google Discover best practices w/Marfeel & WTF is SEO
Last week we hosted a panel discussion on Google Discover together with our friends at WTF is SEO and Claudio Cabrera, VP of Newsroom Strategy & Audience at The Athletic. We discussed best practices, shared tips on how to maximize traffic and impact on Discover, and demonstrated some actionable use cases of Marfeel’s Discover Monitoring that anyone working on SEO in the publishing space can copy and implement in their own organization.
