Media Metrics & Dimensions

Marfeel captures media data on how your users consume and engage with your multimedia content, making it available for analysis of the performance of your multimedia content and optimization of your multimedia strategy.

Metrics

The following metrics represent the total figures across your whole site. However, you can drill down into these metrics and get figures for specific segments of your traffic using Marfeel’s many Dimensions.

Avg. Ads per Play

The average number of Ad impressions per media play, calculated as \frac{Media Ad Impressions}{Media Plays}.

Avg. Impression RFV

The average RFV of users who generated an impression of the selected media content.

Avg. Play Rate

The average rate at which users reproduce the selected media content.

Avg. Play RFV

The average RFV of users who play the selected media content.

Avg. Play Time

The average reproduction duration of the selected media content.

Media Ad Impressions

The total number of ad impressions generated by the publisher’s media.

Media Impressions

The total number of impressions received by the publisher’s media.

Media Plays

The total number of plays of the selected media content.

Dimensions

Has Audio

A selector that denotes whether a page contains audio media, such as a podcast.

Has Video

A selector that denotes whether a page contains video media.

Has Media

A selector that denotes whether a page contains a piece of multimedia content, such as hasAudio or hasVideo.

Is Live

A binary selector that denotes whether a piece of media is live, with the alternative being on-demand.

Media Authors

The author of a piece of media content.

Media Provider

The multimedia player used to reproduce media content.

Media Publish Time

The publication time of a piece of media content.

Media Title

The title of a piece of media content.
