Amplify now provides more accurate character counting for Twitter posts by automatically reserving space for link attachments.
When composing posts for Twitter in Amplify, the platform automatically appends article links to your content. Previously, the character counter did not account for this, leading to situations where a post appeared to fit within Twitter’s 280-character limit but was rejected when published.
Now, Amplify reserves 24 characters in the counter to reflect the space Twitter uses for link attachments. This means you see exactly how many characters are available for your message before the link is added. A tooltip on the character counter explains how many characters are reserved, giving you complete transparency.
