Marfeel stopped tracking FID on March 3rd after Google announced the graduation of INP as a new Core Web Vital. Previously, on AMP pages, CWVs were measured by polling every 10 seconds and logged upon resolution.
However, due to FID’s specific internals, the metric was only resolved after a user interaction with an input or an anchor, causing many pages to not track CWVs effectively.
Since stopping FID tracking, there has been a significant increase in AMP pages with CWVs now being tracked, potentially affecting metrics like INP’s p75 graphics.
